THREAD/PSL.
Ideas as inspiration/stuff I'd love to thread that aren't memes.
NO TRUE PEACE (gen or ship): Though Genji is settled with his body's state, being comfortable with being a meld of man and machine is different from other things. He's still somewhat nervous about showing his body, or even his face, around most people. A thread where someone helps him realize and overcome that particular part of himself would be awesome.
DRAGON OF THE NORTH WIND (au, gen or ship): Genji is a literal dragon. Or dragon-shifter. Or something, because dragons.
CANON-SPECIFIC:
GHOSTS OF THE PAST (76, gen or ship): Before answering the recall, Genji decides to stick his nose into the business of a certain vigilante assaulting defunct Overwatch bases in order to figure out his intentions and whether or not he'll be a threat to the newly risen Overwatch.
PICKING UP THE TRAIL (McCree, gen or ship): McCree doesn't answer the recall. Genji tracks him down to find out why, as well as catch up with an old ally.
1V1 ME (D.Va, gen): D.Va learns Genji used to be an avid gamer and decides to see how good he really is. It leads to an unexpected bonding moment between two generations of Overwatch.
AT WAR (any first-gen, gen or shipping): Anything involving Genji in the first iteration of Overwatch, AKA pain train time.
FALLEN SPARROW (au, any, gen or shipping): Talon claims Genji before Overwatch can. The result is a vastly different person, a man who has been told that he's nothing more than a killing machine, a tool to be used in order to advance Talon's interests.
